FAQs

Fees

1. Why did the Boys fees go up?

MYLC is happy to be able to provide full equipment packages to any players who need it and is the only team in the NVTYLL who provides helmets to all players. As with most goods, these costs have risen in the past several years and our league fees must, unfortunately, rise accordingly.

2. How can I get a scholarship for my player(s)?

MYLC is committed to growing lacrosse in Middlebury and never wants club fees to be a barrier to players enjoying the game. Please contact cboulanger@gmail.com or cvdellen@gmail.com for scholarship information.

Equipment

1. What equipment does my son/daughter need to participate?

Boys are required to have a stick, helmet, shoulder pads, arm pads, gloves, mouthguard, and an athletic supporter/cup to participate. Girls are required to have a stick and goggles (gloves are optional). We recommend cleated athletic shoes as well for both boys and girls since the fields are often muddy in the spring.

2. Is any equipment available from or provided by the Club?

The club provides every player with a helmet (boys only) and jersey. We also provide goalie sticks and equipment for those who are interested. A limited amount of girl's protective goggles and boy's and girl's used equipment is available upon request.

3. Where can I buy lacrosse equipment?

Check out Forth 'n Goal in Middlebury for a full selection of boys and girls lacrosse equipment. Further afield, you can find great selection at Play it Again Sports in South Burlington and Dick's Sporting Goods in either Rutland or Williston.

General
